Been getting my share of -10 loads since I asked about them on here a few weeks ago. My last load was fun. The Jennie-O plant held me up a little while past my appt., but not bad. The fun part came when just before Tomah, I started hearing my air compressor spitting about every 2 minutes. When I finally got to where the front of the trailer was out of the sun, I see the tire inflation light on. Stop and check, sure enough, a hole it the tire, not flat, but leaking pretty bad. Pull in to the Love's in Oakdale, call the shop. He says to fix if possible or replace. 2 1/2 hours later, I roll out of there, but now the problem...it has put me to where I can't legally make it on just one break, and can't get 2 full breaks and the mandatory 30's in to boot...so, I had to do the split-log leapfrog..twice, thus bypassing the 30's and pulled in 30 min before my appointment. When I looked up the customer on Google Maps, some of the reviews said there was overnight parking, some said no overnight parking. Turns out, Publix in Dacula, GA HAS overnight parking. Now, Fargo pre-cut me a $200 T-check for unloading...it ended up costing $205. So, instead of calling after hours for a change of check..I just kicked in a $5 and wrote him a T-check for the rest. Then had just enough time to make it to my pickup headed for northern IL.(the whole reason I didn't ask for a reschedule on the 1st load was because I was set up on the 2nd load and didn't want to mess up the 1st back to back load plan I've had in a while)

Worked with a new broker, Command Transportation on my last load, much better than CH. They actually knew who I was and their system accepted updates from our system so no calls asking about where I was.
Hopefully I will get to work with them again, much nicer experiencetallinthesaddle4life, HeavyHauler33 and ncmickey Thank this. -

Reload at midnight for a 2 stopper delivering in West Bend W.I and Byron MN. Had no load this am. DSP said they had 12 trucks in the NE and several ahead if me to get loaded today. As usual DSP came thru with this load. Brokered CHR.

Made my delivery in Fargo at the Supervalu... Slow but made some detention... Drove over to the Yard to fill the fluid jugs and turn in a bunch of paperwork.
Drove on out to the Stamart in Bismarck for my 0800 tomorrow at Supervalu here to get the rest of this stuff off my truck!
Then onto Jamestown to reload going to Ft Worth Tx and hopefully some warmer weather. Then reload going to NC and home for a few days hopefully...
For some reason 5 degrees feels wonderful after -16.....
