I have to admit, these trucks do pretty well in the sloppy snowy weather, a least so far. My customer that I picked up at this morning was down a couple miles on surface streets, unplowed surface streets. And I had no trouble pulling an empty trailer to them. I am headed to Alexandria, MN then to Wahpeton ND to pick up a load to north TX. It doesn't deliver until Monday, but that's OK, I missed my restart last weekend and have been running on recap hours all week.

Wahpeton make sure you have 3 load locks. They have a scale on site around the corner. Also a couple of drop trailers there. Scales are by the bales of hay. If yours is preloaded leave the 3 load locks in the empty.
supersnackbar and Rock6531 Thank this. -
Drove out my hrs today. Was gonna stop short at the Sac and Fox Truck Stop on and Casino on US 75 in Kansas...... Decieded instead to get as far as I could today....
Sitting in Emporia, Kansas about 7 1/2 hrs from Ft Worth at the Service Area on 335....and of course they are expecting 2-4" of snow tonight.... Looks like another fun day tomorrow...
After I get unloaded in Texas, the plan is to deadhead to Van Buren, Ar with a load to NC... And hometime!!Ordy19 Thanks this. -
Safe travels, and try to stay clear of the snow that slides off the hood when you open it to pre-trip the engine compartment area in 10 hours : - ) Or,ncmickey Thanks this. -
1 mile from my final stop in Byron MN. Nothing from DSP for tomorrow. It seems every week I'm empty in MN on Thursday and as usual no freight on Thursday but we got lots for Friday. Chicago and Gary was an absolute disaster today even at 0900 today. 1st stop in West Bend WI in and out in 30 minutes.

Want to see something weird...this is the street view of where I am picking up tomorrow
tucker Thanks this. -
Saw a semi in a tree today. Well, a bunch of trees actually. Guy put it up the side of the mountain to avoid a pickup.
Some really ugly accidents around Knoxville today. One was a multiple chain reaction of semis. Probably a few cars in the mess to boot. Wrecks everywhere.
Sitting at the weigh station in KY as it's the only place left to park a truck. And it's packed to the gills. -
Ordy19 Thanks this.

Sitting in CR. Drop is 5 miles away at for 0630 tomorrow. Knocking out laundry then bed time. Hoping Fargo next so I can get my truck. I don't care if I have to wait a day.
