    More random questions...

Are cat scales covered or reimbursed?

Since it's freaking cold where a lot of you are, does the company have you add any fuel treatments?

What kind of elog communication system does Magnum use?

Your COM fuel card can be used with the CAT scales app to direct bill your fee, the trucks have suspension load gages on the drives and once you get used to the truck many of the loads don't need to be scaled. Magnum never minds you scaling though so no problem there.

Our fuel tanks are heated so you don't add anything unless you are leaving the truck to sit - sometimes we add treatments to the reefer.

We are on PeopleNet and have a companion app that works with iOS and Android, it's pretty slick and we also have the option of using an app to scan in our load paperwork.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks winnyf1, it all helps a lot! I figure a few more weeks of asking the questions that pop in my head, by the time I'm in orientation it will all just be a refresher.lol

I will likely be renting a car and driving up there. I avoid airplanes whenever possible and renting a car will let me bring more of my stuff so I'm ready to roll after orientation.

Prime was the only company I've worked at....where I drove 3400mi in 7 days....and still had a negative amount ..on my check...this was 25 years ago...but I did learn one thing...NEVER EVER...do a lease purchase on a truck

I called him as soon as I got done accepting the load, but to get set up on my home bound load(s). Since this doesn't load till morning (and because Matt didn't tell me about it until today) I pulled up short yesterday because I figured he would have me sitting until tomorrow anyway. It delivers any time Friday, so I can get it, roll some tomorrow and finish it off by Friday morning, then have time to head to where ever Nick sends me. I told Matt that it would be 0800 tomorrow before I was available, so he sends me a load that picks up at 0400 but says Drop-n-hook at the top, so I am guessing that is when the brewery expects the load to be ready, not what time I have to be there to pick up...at least I hope, because I can't be there by 0400.

Yes it's a drop and hook loads have been ready every time I've been there.

As long as they don't need my trailer for the next driver's load. Would hate to have a ripple effect screw the next guy.

I think my adjusted gross for the 6 months I was there was $0.23 cpm. I went in current on my bills, within 6 months I was almost 3 months behind on everything. Prime, Inc. stands for: Please Remember I Mortgaged Everything, I Need Cash
