There's a walmart that has lot behind it. Or park in the parking lot. Says no trucks but I parked there with 5 other trucks. If you're going to General Mills it's like 3 miles from it.

I was told they don't like us on on the roads the way we go through there to get to Bismarck because of how heavy we are. Another driver told me that when I had the beer load out of Fort Collins.

Nebraska and other Midwestern states are going to be getting a snow storm in the next couple days... Maybe that's why?

No. It doesn't matter the time of year. We are told not to go through Nebraska

Is it the state or company that doesn't like it?

Not for sure. That's the message we get with the load directions.

I've never seen anything about it, maybe I just haven't gotten the specific loads that warn us. This place has so many things that go unsaid...why do we even have orientation, they don't explain crap.

It's in the details in the notes section - and yeah they know orientation needs to be improved esp for experienced drivers. The new CDL grads get trainers, but for others it's learn as you go...

Devils lake ND also says not to go thru Nebraska. You are paid to go up thru Wyoming if you look at routing. I actually prefer going that way a lot less traffic.

I have never had anyone say anything to me when I go from North Dakota to Texas and swing by the folks in Nebraska. There is a massive storms that's about to hit (I'm trying to hurry and get south of it) from Colorado thru Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota & Wisconsin. And it has nothing to to with how "heavy" we are as Nebraska's max weight is 95k lbs. From experience on the farm, those hoppers can get pretty darn heavy.
