Yes it was. I've been with Magnum going on 4 years and I developed a great friendship with Paul. I'm on a local dedicated account for Case here in Fargo so I seen him often. I got in my truck at 5 am and read that awful fleet wide message announcing his untimely passing. I was able to make it to his visitation but couldn't make it to his funeral. It still seems unreal to this day. The world lost a great man!

Double checked and you were correct, Changed for the pay by performance package. Clean inspection also helps on the safety metric, in addition to the cash.

Not any more. They picked up the Bojangles account and now have too many trucks coming in. Want you to leave when empty.

Walmart right up the road ain't bad. Don't screw up the guard rail like everybody else.

I tried to time starting my 14 as close to my del as I could, doing so didn't give me enough time in Concord to split. I was going to get my butt over here as quickly as I could so I could split, and still have enough time to get over to Kenley to take a full break (and get a meal and a shower). Now I am stuck here in Goldsboro on the side street just past the shipper.

As far as parking at Wally (or other stores) other than when I was with Crete delivering Lowe's D/C loads to stores then were allowed to park there overnight, I don't use them as truckstops. Too many trucks do that, so more and more Wally's are putting time limits on how long trucks are allowed to be there. Plus I am getting old, I may have to answer the call of nature in the middle of the night, and I am not talking about cooling a tire...so I need food and facilities. This is gonna suck, I may have to skip down to the Down East travel center Ordy posted about.

Down east isn't bad at all, nice and quiet with a food lion beside it. My trucks there now but I won't be back to it until 10-11 tonight.

The food lion on 111, is close and there is a closed dollar general on the end, I have backed in there twice beside the building leaving plenty of room for a FOod lion truck to be able to easily get by me. No one has said anything yet. But I'm the same way, I'll truck stop it if I can.

I called mission foods to try to get out today, they said too packed, oh well. I'll start from there with a fresh clock tomorrow and drive straight to Gordon foods and crash there til my appt. There is a Flying J about 30 miles or so from Gordon's, can stop in there and snag a shower.

Got up this morning, took a shower, then treated myself to a bacon egg and cheese flatbread from subway. Then 150 miles down the road my insides started gurgling. Stopped at the Pilot north of Lexington, KY and burned a shower credit for use of a semi clean and private bathroom for what was about to take place.
Hear me now subway, I got an interstate littered with truck stops and at least 2 shower credits that I won't hesitate for a second to use. We can do this all day!

As former air winger you should be used to sitting around doing nothing.
