As far as comfort, nothing beats a large sleeper Volvo. Not the prettiest, but huge inside. For looks, I like the 680 KW, or the 660 with a studio.
Don't get me wrong, these trucks look nice...but Pete's have always been ergonomically challanged for OTR drivers who spend more than a couple weeks on the road. At least with the 579 we can stand straight up from the drivers seat(if you're under 5'10") and walk to the sleeper...tripping over the speed bump in between.
The line haul driver that I spoke to several weeks back (the one that spent years struggling as an LTD driver) said that once they started getting in these Pacar engines, there were drivers arguing over the Freightliner daycabs when they came in...

Pigbacon Thanks this.

At least they were kind enough to ask us to leave instead of calling the law.

Went by the Safeway. Fenced in staging area. Took my papers to the guard shack. Sign on the wall says no parking more than 3 hrs early. Told the guard what happened. He said I'll take care of you, no worries, unless your delivery is 4 days from now lol. Glad he was in a good mood.
