Spooky time!!!!

The other day I had a weird dream. I dreamt that I was getting ready to roll after a break, released my trailer brakes so I could check out the trailer. When I walked back to my tires, I heard a leak. I dreamt that I had a nail sized hole in my LR tire (in my dream, we had super singles). The auto inflate system inflated it and kept up with the leak. This morning...when I went to check things out, the auto inflate light was on, and I found a nail....in the LRO tire. Why can't I dream about winning the lottery (and remember to write down the numbers before I forget them)

 

Better question is why do you dream about super singles? I always dream about twins.

 

Is dreaming about work considered a dream, or a nightmare?

The odd-er thing was...it was an indoor parking garage....for trucks.

 

My load coming out of Plymouth got canceled. I'm now on day 2 of unplanned hometime. At least I am at home waiting for a load instead of sitting in a truck stop somewhere. Jeremy has kept in touch though. If he can't get a good load picking up today, tomorrow looks good... I said "good, because I'm part of Magnums elite forum fleet."You save them short miles and sitting for supersnackbar".

 

Speaking of @supersnackbar, did you get the load to Georgia from Nick Snackbar??

 

LoL if you guys are dreaming about singles and twins and they're tires you are really showing your age . Ask @WalterSobchak or @Ordy19 about their dreams, oh wait, this isn't an R rated site

 

So picking up at our favorite beverage customer in Fort Worth, me to the gaurd "hey I have been overloaded on my drives, we need to rework the load". The gaurd to me, "we only look at your gross and we don't communicate that to the drivers".

Went to the scale, was over by a lot, back to their rework location and here I set, 3 hrs of detention and counting...

Picked up at Coors in Golden, CO. Checked load before hooking up. 4 kegs laying loose on deck, go to shipping office. She calls her manager, he said to hook up,check out, go over to dock. There they took off all the kegs and wrapped in plastic. FYI, always check the load first, if you hook up and there is a problem, they can possible blame you up for hooking up to hard. Read between the lines when talking to both of them.

 

Yep, it was there Sunday, but since he didn't dispatch me on it ahead of time, I didn't have any load numbers to verify. I ended up having to remind him to send me the info Monday. Now I have a short broker load to get me closer to home. My delivery location in GA was 300+ miles from da' haus. Jeremy got me a short run to within 75 miles of home that delivers tomorrow morning...win-win, and I get home ON the day I asked and get paid for most of the miles. Plus the company doesn't have to eat the long deadhead miles.
