I park in front of the business on West 27th. Employees there said the neighborhood isn't a problem, and I've never been bothered.

 

Delivering at I-Supply in the am then picking up my first hazmat load for Magnum in Lebanon, Oh going to Griffin, Ga.

Sorry I missed your call Winny. Gonna go to that Meijer in the am to restock my fridge.

 

I will be in Newnan tomorrow evening for my delivery then home till Wednesday.
Then the adventure begins my daughter will be riding with me for a couple of weeks.

 

Bonus!!! Just noticed my Griffin, GA load is only one exit from Ol Rudys BBQ. Stopped by there last summer. I definitely reccomend it. They also have truck parking. Flying J is also at that exit.

 

Dropping this load at the CR yard in the afternoon, then the truck goes into the shop for a DPF filter cleaning, a broken seatbelt (won't retract), new wipers, a new pull-out drawer (if they can scare up the parts) and hopfully find a way to tighten town the fairing, which is so loose it rattles like crazy.

The DPF thing is gonna take 12-hours+ all by itself. I have a bad feeling I'm gonna be sitting on my hands all weekend.

 

If they have food or females we might work something out!

 

Got a load going to Ga that I pickup tomorrow and then I'll be home by Monday. This is my last week of training and although the first bit of it was rocky I am glad I came to this company and overall I enjoyed my training and trainer. @Xeres63 it was nice meeting you today. And thanks for the heads up on the truck I'm picking up, hopefully the smell isn't too bad.

 

Well, my hopes of turning 1500 miles by Tuesday and having a 10k+ mile month with home time have been horribly squished by the holiday. I pick up down by D.C. tomorrow morning, deliver in Chicago....TUESDAY. ####ing holidays...I won't go negative just yet...we will see how I recover after a 700 mile 4.5 day run. My wife has informed me that her knee prognosis exam is the 1st week of June...I may have a window of opportunity if her doctor give her the all clear.

 

I can't believe they have let that truck sit down there this long. Crazy.
