1: I AM a writer. I have the journalism awards to prove it. But ty for the compliment?? I think it was one?
2: I am very much like SSB. If it weren't BAD luck, I'd have none at all.

I try to make my OWN luck, while acknowledging point 2. Call it a last act of defiance. I will NOT give up.

And just to add, I just got put OOS at a MT weigh station because my DOT physical, for which I have the fax receipt to WasDOT, was not entered into the system. 8 hours blown to Hell and my already limited attendance at my sister's 70th Surprise bday party shot to Hell.

WA finally figured it out....AFTER the MT DOT guy left til MONDAY. Screw it, I'm driving.

    Just another day of trucking...

ONE day feels like a lot. I've had stretches. Just like you.

After all these tales of woe, we should meet up for a meal. - So we can BOTH get food poisoning:p

Things Ive concluded by reading my peoplenet mesages today..

Somebody parked all in the way at Coon Rapids... It's possible that same person took a 2 year supply of the new trip sheets out of the drivers lounge.... Then they possibly dropped their trailer down in Gaylord low on fuel...

    Did I forget anything?

I ate at a Jack in the Box for the first time today. They aren't around where I live. Nothing to write home about.
I have a 10 am at gsf in Mccook, IL then up to Niagra water in Pleasant Prairie, WI headed to the Costco in Fargo for Monday am.

I've concluded that someone pee'd in Ashley's Wheaties about 3 weeks ago, because the mass emails she sends just keep getting more and more stupid.

We have 250 or so drivers here. EVERY day, SOMEONE is going to do something stupid. It's just the odds.

And as for the parking thing? Ya, I'll park 1/4 mile from the nearest toilet for two days as soon as the LTD drivers have to take a 4 day pay-cut for being sick for a day and stop parking their trucks in the "ltd" side.

If you're going to have a driver lounge, WTF is wrong with you that 1/2 the drivers have to park 1/4 mile away? Ashley yelled at me for parking in the "wrong" spot about a week ago. I asked the shop, they have no issues. Meanwhile, the ONLY place you can get wifi on your truck? SURE as HELL, it's in the place they want the day-time guys to park.

Walking 500 yards to get to your truck from your parking spot is a small thing. Walking 500 yards from your bed to the toilet is a BIG thing. Should be simple enough for even Ashley to get it. And one more email like the last one, I'm going to Gadberry over. Do these people have ANY clue the crap we put up with? Ashley won't give ANYONE loads on Thursday generally. So if you unload Wed, you're just OOL til Friday. So you layover at CR, because the nearest truck stop is 20+ miles away and SMALL, and get #####ed at because you parked in some day-cabbing #######'s spot so he...POOR BABY has to walk a whole 300 yards from his car in the AM?

    Gimme a fing break.

No, we don't touch freight. In fact, we usually have a T-check set up before we have to ask for one for the unload charges, and most of the time they know how much the customer is going to charge before we do.

I guess I am going to get in trouble in CR then. I will be there tomorrow evening thru Monday morning. And I'll G-D'd if I am spending a 34 a half mile from Mr. John, nor will I carry a full laundry basket that far to get to the laundry room. Ashley is one person I get along with, but

Yeah the fuel sensor decided to die on me the first day I had it. As far as the def pressure thing I dunno maybe it's the trucks way of saying it needs more attention from me.

I just ignore that crap. If there's a spot in the "ltd" side, I'll take it. But you can Kiss My ### if you think I'm going to park 1/4 mile from the nearest toilet for 2 days.

The LTL guys can just suck it the Hell up.
