I thought I'd share a couple of positive things about our dispatch team... every once in awhile they do something worth taking not of lol.

A week ago I needed to get home to meet with my wife and son to help realign him with reality, nothing big just a teenager needing a boot up his you know what to get him moving. Now mind you he did get 85% of his tuition covered at a $50K per year university and he's pre-med, but hey go big or go home right... anyway, dispatch was able to get me a trip to KY which put me 90 miles away from home, and then found me a load that picked up on a Friday and delivered on a Monday 380 miles from my home with a final stop in MN. This allowed me to do what I needed to do and still make miles, yeah I forgave the layover on that one :).

This week our friendly turkey customer held me up for 5.5 hrs on what should have been a simple 2 stopper to OK. The delay resulted in my loosing a sweet 2,400 mile run out west because as we all know Wally world can never work you in even though I would have only been 2 hrs late to my original appointment, they're just to important and to busy you know and thus I was moved to the next day. Well dispatch found me a couple of new loads that recovered all but 434 miles of my original run so I'll still finish my trimester off strong.

Yeah every once in awhile they do something that really makes it nice to work here, of course I'll start my next trimester off with some short runs, but hey one thing at a time right!

    Ya'll be safe out there...

I know enough about Magnum to take the survey, it's their loss they didn't ask.
That is funny, I'll still do a rain dance for you, for your vacation.

4mer trucker and txtodd Thank this.

Last time I picked up there it was ready to go...It only took them 10 minutes to revive me after I passed out from the shock.

And Karma is still a wicked witch. A short time ago, @WalterSobchak said that he usually gets a Carrier trailer when he got a -10 load, and I made the mistake of saying I have only pulled one, and it was an empty from CR to Gaylord....and THE VERY NEXT load I picked up after saying that was....a 34 deg load, that had to be run on continuous. It was on a Carrier and it was my 1st of 2 4-stop loads. The 2nd 4-stopper (the 5 day Jennie-O load from He##) was also loaded on a different Carrier trailer. Almost 2 weeks of not being able to hear my tv. I have to watch what I say...

4mer trucker, Pigbacon and Winnyf1 Thank this.

I have a carrier with a minus 10 load on now. It's so hot outside that it's running almost continuously. IMOP they do to seem cool quicker thou.
So AB St Louis has stop trailers?
