I started at 42 cents per mile but after 4 months you go on pay performance scale.
Which is based on your CSA score, how many miles you run MPG, safety, OTD. All are given a point value then they add your points up and base your pay rate on that. Miles and MPG are the 2 most important. I don't run real hard and I'm usuAlly around .49 per mile

I lived in central AR near mavericks hq. Recently moved to North West Arkansas. I'm with Magnum all the way.

No bs micro management. No telling me how much time I can take off. It's really is a good choice.

Thanks! How many years experience did you have when you started at 42cpm base?

Thanks! Is that how maverick operates? Definitely don't like micromanagement...if you hire me to do a job, I expect to be trusted to do it unless I prove otherwise lol.

27 years but there is no base pay. Your pay is whatever your pay performance score is. The only "bonus" is 5 cent a mile if your pulling a hazmat load. If after 4 months here and your miles and MPG are decent you will move up to whatever your score is. After your 4 months your pay will be based on your score nothing else. You could end making more per mile then some with 25 years experience if your score is higher.

Not sure. I have never worked for them.

I have worked for magnum. They tell me where to pick up and deliver a load and that is it! I pick my route, where to stop, where to fuel, and even if I want to drive! As long as I'm on time and within a decent mileage, im Golden!

    I started . 40 c and after 4 Mos I received a raise based on my performance.

    I love it here!

I came in after a 25 yr break in driving, went from $0.36 (new driver pay) to $0.42 after 4 months and then to $0.48 after 6 months.

If you stay a year and have a clean record you get 2 points which basically moves you up $0.01 or allows you to maintain your pay level with a few less miles. Keep in mind we don't have a formal hometime policy so it's up to you how hard you run to decide what you earn.

It also depends on where you live, for sure drivers who are in say MN get home a lot with great miles, parts of NC do pretty well too... I'm not doing bad being from southern Indiana, but I don't do a lot of hometime to make the rate I'm at - $0.46 to $0.47 is more realistic if I'm going home each month for 4 days. I stay out because they tend to have runs that let me at least get by the house somewhat regularly.

I'm from NEPA, and would like to get home every other weekend if that's possible. I do run pretty hard while I'm out, but I have two little men at home that I like to get home to. I currently get home usually every other weekend and pull on avg 2900-3000/wk, but I also run out to CA a lot, so they are nice long trips.

Ahhhhh, the Ohio Tpk service plazas. I guess that is one nice thing you can say about Ohio. Plenty of parking and complimentary showers. Wait, that's two things.
