Stopped in Great Falls, MT last night. Had a nice shower and ordered a pizza for delivery. Pizza shows up. As I'm attempting to unlock my door and get in the truck a gust of wind opens the pizza box and blows it out of my hand and to the asphalt. Pizza face down on the ground. Lmao Nice!

I initially turned the air on while I was watching TV. Got so cold I had to turn the ac off and use only the fan all night long. In the 50's this morning. This southern country boy is almost cold!
I know if I put on my jacket, these folks will look at me like I'm crazy.

I do have to admit, these Temps are much better than the 100°+ days back home!

Change of plans somebody didn't show up so now I am going to Shelby IS to pick up then to Minot for tomorrow

 

I was there at 10:00 yesterday. They moved my load over to Barron today without telling dispatch. 1 day layover and it still ain't ready yet either.

 

Part of the reason I have been somewhat quiet lately is......This is my GPS's odometer...and it was reset to 000000 on 6/1, and today is the 25th, I have 47 miles to deliver, then p/u in Niles IL headed for Eagan for Tuesday, then Nick is sending a load to CR for me to head home. Oh, and my Peoplenet's digital mpg is sitting at 8.3 for the month (was reset on 6/1 also)




I didn't want to say anything because of that witch Karma...but....

Wow @tucker must be nice, I assume you are getting like what $2 per mile too...or you're like Karl Malone and just enjoy driving a large car...

 

I applied to a different company, home weekly and during the week. They don't need driver right now.
And with Brexit and Trump, who knows if any of us will be working.
