We have picked up at that place in miles as long as I've been here. Picked up there 4 or 5 times so far. Never had a issue there just they where strick about appt times not loading early. I also picked up there when working for Poly same exact lane.

 

Talking to regulars that pick up here a lot, all say the same thing...slow ### union stooges making more than we do, riding the clock like they are at a dairy farm. About 10 daycabs (non-coke trucks) came in loaded and left between the time I hit the dock and got out of there. I will tell Joey that he NEVER needs to send me to this location again unless he wants to see the dark side of my personality.

 

I apologize @Winnyf1. If I wasn't too busy sleeping all the time I might cry.

 

SSB, thought about not responding to your problems/ concerns and my alter ego won out. This is just MY opinion......you will not be happy anywhere you go. As a group I believe that you have received a ton of advice from some that have been very successful here and I really don't know what your hang up (s) have been with the advice given you. Idk if you are so experienced that you are too stubborn to listen or what. People have offered their advice and you've hardly ever acknowledged them (much less thanked them). So to that, farewell and good riddance.

 

To the poster asking about parking for Americold Rochelle....just park at the Petro or Pilot RR. Short ride to Americold.

 

One thing to remember... This is the week headed into a big holiday. Big food holiday. Everywhere is busy with extra delivery to handle volume and make up for the lost 3 day weekend coming up.

I've made some nice bucks with detention this week. If everything went right on schedule, I'd be sitting in the same exact spot I am sitting now...at my 4th drop, getting ready to rack up some more detention.

This is reefer.... Your gonna sit. Your gonna have weird delivery times. If your gonna get all twisted up when things don't go exactly the way you want...this ain't for you. I've had a crazy couple weeks... Sat 34 hrs on a meat load, 2 flat tires, 8 hrs and counting on detention on this current load.... #### it. Turn on the AC, watch a movie, and chill... Getting all mad does NOTHING. And it doesn't happen all the time. I'll go weeks without detention. And honestly, my load info is right 19 out of 20 times... Maybe a bad phone number or something sometimes.....

I piss and moan too... I get it... But it accomplishes nothing... And make ya look like a #####
