I slept on the road beside Tulsa cold. If you're in their parking lot it's the street to your left up above the concrete wall.

 

I am so glad I pull a dry Van and take my 10 at a truck stop every night, unless I'm at a casino.
But I do thank you all for being creative and not filling up the places that I park. Kudos

 

Nope. Early on I went with the flow, pushed my 14 to cover for their lack of planning ability, and kept quiet about it. Tried to work with what ever situation presented, skipped on logs...everything I could do to maximize my available time. And the thank you I got was a 9700 miles/month average. You keep saying it's my actions causing the problems..my actions are the -reaction- to the problems. I only step on toes when someone gets close enough to get in my face.

 

And what happens if nature calls? Walmart bag and a bucket? And what is there to eat? Remember, I have an inverter that is as unpredictable as the weather, and the shop won't replace it because it won't act up when it's in the shop, so I rely on buying prepared food.

 

Not blaming you just trying to figure it out.

I have a 1945 appointment to pick up there after a 530 a.m. delivery in Coppell, TX.

 

It's actually a J, but that is one of those J's that after 17-1800, you might as well forget even trying to find a spot in there. They are building a new QT where Dan's truck stop use to be (across the interstate from the other QT on the east side of town) , but I don't think it's close to being done yet.

 

A place called Tacoma Truck Stop 4 miles from them. Don't know anything about it.

 

I generally prefer not sleeping at truck stops. Being startled awake at 3am to the sound of a truck breaking my mirror and hitting the side of the sleeper can do that.
