Yeah it's fun...make sure they are not just waiting w/o appointments, need to be a little pushy at that sight

 

It's not a big deal I guess, I finally got in and I'm getting unloaded pretty quick. It's just that if we're 15 minutes late it's the end of the world, but show up an hour early and you wait. Lesson learned. Next time I'll show up 5 minutes early. Easy enough to do.

 

If it's an Acklie company, NEVER!! The only redeeming part of an Acklie company is the higher than average CPM to put up with their crap. At Hunt, they don't even have that. Flatbed jobs are a dime a dozen, and there are many that pay much higher then Hunt. You really should give up on the fantasy that I will ever be associated with any Acklie company. Hell, if they bought any company I was working for, I would be routed home to clean out my truck the day after they signed the paperwork...that's how much I HATED working there!!

 

So mcclanes kept me 4 1/2 hours after the appt time. I get in, I'm told specifically to ignore the green light and wait for a phone call. They forgot to call, then lied and claimed they did after 2 hours. Funny how I had bars, fast internet and I have no call record or voicemail. Hell yes I'm asking for detention. "Why didn't you come in?". Because you told me not to. And its nit like 4hours is unusual for mcclanes.

 

I remember being told the same at that Mclanes. It would be nice if all Mclanes were like Concord. Never had an excessive wait here.
