Once but for a reaaaaally long time

 

This place a joke. They have 1 door they load out of. Been here 3 hours in the door for 2 and have 2 pallets. At this rate I will be here just over 24 hours..Small place to get into every you walk into bot a soul to be found and there is 6 more trucks waiting to get loaded. It's like a puzzle for any truck to move. This one has to pull up and another backs up so a truck can move.

 

I'm there now. Had some of Michael's product spring a leak, and it looked like it had been leaking for a while. So I had to dispose of 13 ruined cases of egg stuff, then sit in line at the washout, now I am sitting in a packed cold storage lot with 7 or 8 trucks ahead of me...this customer loads early...what a crock of ####!!! I'll be lucky if I get out of here before midnite. Dispatchers, can't live with 'em, can't beat 'em to death with their own keyboard..

 

So last night was Mcclanes nightmare. Tonight it's: steak dinner, live piano music, pretty ladies everywhere. There's a reason I love this job...

 

Yeah, they loaded 3 of us this morning, but in the afternoon it's a madhouse for sure! Better on Tuesday and Thursday's BTW

 

I didn't really mind the 4 hours, I slept. It's the whining about detention that really pee'd me off.
