Only reason he's getting the good miles is because they know he applied at another company, perhaps a temporary thing.

I hate switching jobs, plus we're all getting them this month, I'm good with 8,000 miles a month as long as they ain't short loads and 2 customers every day

My empty trailer assigned to me wasn't at the CR yard so I grabbed another empty sent her message. Couldn't wait till tomorrow only way to make this work is to park overnight at shipper.

On a Turkey load and I'm already needing a break, they have by far the worst customers - I'm at a grocery location in Houston where you park, walk a 1/4 mile to fill out paperwork and then go back to your truck to wait, and I need an appointment why?

Oh well it's trucking lol...have a friend meeting me hopefully for lunch assuming they don't take all day to pull my 3,500 lbs and I make my next stop on time.

Since Gaylord has been requiring washouts no matter how clean you try and get the trailer I have started taking the dirtiest trailer I can find down...I figure so long as they are going to charge us we may as well make them work for it!

I think that Creaffer is over $.50 for a majority of their drivers now, and not just when they're hauling hazmat. The price they have to pay to compensate drivers for all the micro - management and hassles of working for an Acklie company

That's what I've done in the past, Ashley had me picking up a relatively clean trailer and carrying it out to Gaylord, when the trailer I had been hauling was terrible...convinced her to let me carry that one instead. Mentioned this to Chad during the conference calls and I don't think he was impressed. My way of thinking is like yours Winnyf1, if we're gonna pay might as well get our money's worth.
