Thanks, mustered seed is a hole, plus you pay for it at 13.00 per 12 hours or 26 for 24. I'll stop at the ta on the way in. Drive in for deliveries.

I just did something like that earlier in the week. They closed I-90W down for one hour for a controlled blast early in the morning (6am-7am). I was just stuck there. Be careful of that! Not that they're still doing that, but i wasnt expecting it!

    RickyDickyDo and Winnyf1 Thank this.

I usually park in ellensburg, ta in North bend (must reserve a spot or you'll never get a spot) also a closed weigh station off 90 by the hwy to auburn.

I cannot cope with being woken up in the middle of the night and having to scramble for a spot, so I don't do the Walmart thing there.

I have not tried this, but the state fairgrounds parking lot in puyallup might be worth a try as long as your going to arrive late and leave early.

Pulled into the TA at exit 34, I-90 in Washington. Only spots left were reserved. Reserved a spot last night for today. Good choice on my part. Only 40 min drive to 1st stop.

04:00 appointment. Traffic shouldn't be too bad.

The truly awful traffic in the Seattle area is on the I-5. And no, other than in the wee small hours (before 6am) I don't know of ANY time it's good. -Total crapshoot, much like 90/290 through Chicago, though obviously any time between 630am and 930am, you can count on it being horrid baring very good luck.

The 90 and the 18 usually aren't too bad, even at peak rush hour until you get past Belvue.

The parking situation on the west side of Snoqualamie is just intolerable. Loves and the Pilot in Ellensburg tend to be filled up way over capacity by late evening, 7 days a week. And most of them are staging for a p/u or delivery in the Seattle area.

The Loves in Tacoma is both tiny and a HOLE. And the TA in North Bend is no great shakes either.
This is an example of where the FMSCA/Federal DOT need to pressure the state to build large truck parking areas, similar to what they have around KC.

On the upside, the WSP will leave you alone most times on an onramp/offramp. There's no safe place they can refer you to and they know it.

Well, I just did the most embarrassing parking job I've done in I don't know how long.

Not even particularly challenging...just one of those days. Dodging trucks pulling out of the fuel island didn't make it any easier, but still, it was just... you know.

So I FINALLY get parked, I'm sure I was blushing, because it was just a pathetic 5 pullups or something into a relatively simple spot...

The guy I parked next to got out of his truck as I was doing my post-trip and came over. "Rough day huh?" he asked. I nodded. "Don't sweat it man, tomorrow it will be my turn." He smiled and walked into the truck stop.

    ##### I love me some truckers. :)
