Work with dispatch, unfortunately when you are delayed it snowballs. However after 2 hrs waiting they have paid in the past.

 

Never had a problem with detention on multi stop loads. Just be on time to the 1st stop. If they make you late to your next stop, you can request detention after you've been there for 2 hours.

Anybody got a spot around Mclane in Plymouth, MI? Looking at the satellite view I'd wager they don't allow parking.

 

I delivered there once. I parked on the street. I didn't ask or anything just parked nobody said a word to me.

 

Rest area on 275n about 11 miles away.... Watch out for the 'restroom pud pulling club' late at night....

 

Well just lost another load because nobody has hazmat. Now I lost 400 miles and empty on a Thursday in Mn so there will be no freight till Friday as usual. Don't think I am going to renew my hazmat next time. Also let me add it doesn't pick up till 1730 vs a 0800 open appointment. I deliver at 0200. Go from having a good week to awful week because of this. I am the one who ends up getting punished out of this because I have the endorsement. end up losing another load that would have got me by the house for a day because nobody seems to have the proper endorsements.

 

I had just assumed most have their Hazmat endorsement, but I got pulled off a load today to take a HM load. Not much difference to me - both going to CR, but the HM doesn't load until 1800 tomorrow. Thankfully it's a D/H.

 

I lost 400 miles. Other load was going to grand forks this is going close to CR. Not to mention how many miles I am going to lose on next load plus a day at home. Then he tries to give me a load to Aberdeen for Sunday night from Newport. 1135 for 4 days I told him nope and even if I load Friday I can't do any worse than that. I will wait till she returns tomorrow.

 

I just got my hazmat endorsement last week when I came home for home time so I will be able to help you guys out with some hazmat loads.
