They made it right. Letting me drop in CR and grabbing a load off the yard going to LC and swap loads with driver for there home time and taking his load to Fort Worrh for Friday night. Just had to wait for the proper person to return to work. And I got an apology(so it never happened) from the receiving clerk that yelled at me when I checked in.plus was out of there in just over a hour.

 

That's where our experiences differ. Even before I got so easily annoyed and irritable, mine seldom worked out on a positive. Maybe that is why I go so negative so quickly, so many times expecting good but ending bad. My 'carrot of hope' that I follow off the cliff to a new low.

You still lost out on a decent amount of miles because others aren't up to speed with their hazmat (which could be just delays caused by their DMV's red tape, like happened with my hazmat)

I only need 800 miles Saturday and Sunday to be made whole. I spoke Texas dispatch and was told that I would have a load to run over weekend.

From midnight to midnight ran 799 miles yesterday.
When I deliver in Fort Worth Friday night I will have between 7100-7200 miles for the pay period. Guess I shouldn't have complained. It all worked itself out.
