I had 4500 this pay period, 4800 last pay period. :hello1:. Not quite up to my 9625/month average thus far this year.

I'm not allowed to run like that. In order to have an average, someone has to be on the low side of the equation...that's me...Mr. Low.

When I spoke to a certain person in corporate a while back, I heard them say something that makes perfect sense, and explains my miles. "Magnum won't fire you (unless there was a safety issue or incident like forgetting to set your brakes), they just run a driver short until they get frustrated and leave". Before my regular temper tantrums, I must have said or done something that pissed someone off, and I am just slow at picking up the hint that they want me to leave.

If that's the case why not start over here instead of giving up?

Because I have gotten tired of being away from my family for months at a time. I always swore that I would be OTR until I die, but with age comes wisdom. I have spent 21 years seeing my kids grow up 6 weeks at a time. Now that I have 6 grandkids, I realize how much I missed. I have a chance to work for a company that gets me home weekly or biweekly and still make acceptable money (better than I make here), in a faster truck, and pulling a dry van. I was trying to time my wifes most expensive 90 day perscription refill to my leaving. But I just found out earlier this week that it isn't a 90 day perscription on Magnums insurance (we're talking a $20+ per day med), so I have been delaying departure for no reason.

No wonder I don't fit in. I've always been a member of the dork or geek clubs.:biggrin_2558:

Echosmith...is that another one of Steven Tyler's talented offspring?

Actually if you can believe it they're siblings...

Hey I hope you are soon headed out the door, not in a bad way, I think you have accurately accessed the situation and it sounds like you are ready to be closer to home, I understand that the road gets old after awhile.

Snackbar the regional question driver, has a nice ring to it :). BTW, when I was in highschool I was a jock who sang in the chiror and played in the orchestra and was a science kid so I know geek lol.
