Does it count if I washed my feet in the windshield bucket? :)

My company does not require us to make any notations when fueling. The system will automatically note fueling somewhere in the ether when the Comdata transaction closes but we never see anything one our ELDs.

Try fueling while off duty and see what happens.

As long as there is at least 5 minutes of on duty within 5 minutes of when the pump records the fuel time, you're fine. The computer audit programs won't catch any falsification. Outside of that, you'll probably have to do some splainin to Ricky

I don't fuel off duty. Or do pretty much anything else off duty. I normally go on duty at the start of the day and don't go off duty until days end.

Didn’t the Supreme Court recently issue a ruling, that Federal agencies don’t have the authority to impose rules, regulations, mandates, fines, etc.? Those actions are solely the responsibility of the legislative branch, and signed into law by the executive?

I just go to Hoods fuel stop, dude asks, “Fill it up, wash windows?”
    I say, “Yes.”

Seems to me all the Fed agencies are exempt from rules or laws. They do whatever they want with no penalties. Don't even get me started!

Who has ever had DOT ask about when you fueled? I never have so I was just curious.

On more than one occasion over the last 4 decades or so...I’ve had a few overzealous officials Demand All supporting documents during an inspection
    But it’s not typical
As for the rule making status on the op...Seems to me the agency is lost on their other rules...From what I’m reading here
Most of the commenters have/use e-logs
Which always for minute by minute logging
Whereas until e-logs everything was done in 15 minute increments due to the form of paper logs
