I'm located in the Orlando area of Florida. I am under contract with a company for a year but once the year is up I'm jumping ship. I know many say that companies are going strictly automatic transmissions, but I find that not to be true. Talking to some companies they have brand new trucks with manual transmissions waiting for an experienced driver.
I only want OTR, no LTL, local or regional. Right now the only one I see hiring in my area is Freymiller. I've heard both good and bad about Freymiller so who knows. I prefer a company that doesn't use inward facing cameras or any of that other driver assistance junk. Mostly looking for reefer as they offer the longest miles ran per trip and it's all I've driven before so I don't mind it. I know all about the wait times at the warehouses and all the other stuff that comes with the job. Any help would be appreciated.
