I have one ticket (going 65 in California), citation was issued in July and I paid it in October (which was the deadline). Now the thing I don't understand is the recruiter at Marten said "check in again in April because you need to wait 6 months from when you paid your ticket".

Why do they count the 6 months from when you paid, rather than when you were issued the violation? That doesn't make sense to me.

Because when you paid is when you admitted to the offense. I.E. your conviction date.
Everything will go off conviction date.

    Easy explanation, my take anyway.

Freight is slow right now, maybe by next year in April it’ll be better.
