Well, Here we go, bus ticket in hand, shipping out to SPIMO on Sunday! After doing extensive research on commercial trucking co's, (Swift,CRE, etc.) I found that PRIME,INC. not only had a solid hiring record, but the training was above board and although EVERY company had negative feedback, the Positives FAR outweighed the negatives for PRIME.
However, and most saw a BUT coming... I earned my CDL Permit & endorsements (HAZMAT,DOUBLES & TRIPLES, AIR) in Massachusetts, Now my recruiter, who has done (I believe) what she can do to keep me informed of what I will need to bring to orientation, and what will be expected of me during the next few weeks with a trainer.
One issue is that whenI am ready to take my CDL test, I WILL NEED A TRAINER FROM MASSACHUSETTS, WITH A VALID CDL LICENSE, for you potential up and comers coming to PRIME or I assume anywhere else, be aware that MASSACHUSETTS is a state that "if you get your CDL PERMIT in Missouri, your CDL License will be issued in Missouri"
You WILL NOT be able to 'transfer' your CDL over to MAssachusetts for TWO YEARS.
This simply means that you want your CDL in MAssachusetts, you might have to wait for a Massachusetts CDL trainer at least with PRIME.
OR
You will have to gain a residential status in Missouri (Regular License included, to prove residency) for two years.
So, my fellow students, good luck, hope to see you there and be part of the graduating class I am in.
God Bless the COMMONWEALTH of MASSACHUSETTS!!!![]()

That's BS . Call the MA Registry Of Motor Vehicles and ask how long you have to hold an out of state CDL to be able to transfer it to a MA CDL .
What other lies did you fall for ?cuzzin it Thanks this. -
The trainer can be from any state. The State you take test in is where your first CDL is from then you transfer to MA

Welcome to Prime!

He asked me what I knew about MA, and I referred him to call his local DMV. I've only heard about the mess at the IL and CA DMVs.
According to his 2nd PM to me that's exactly who he called. I told him to post the info for future Mass. students coming to Prime.Carabello720 Thanks this. -
