morning. I'm doing some settlement snooping but I'm unsure of my equations and now I've come up with a good question . Check this. What answers can I get by knowing these factors.
    1. I drove 1761 miles
    2. My fuel was $469.90
    3. My gross was $1866.44
I specifically want to know my dollar per mile :(. I get a lil tripped up on the gas pedal part. T.I.V.

$1 a mile on 3 day load, you must be an Euro Immigrant from Chicago in flip flops. Oh wait...you got a long nose truck and you are from Texas. Must be Mexican then (sarcasm)

Take a look at the Lets Truck Website. It's about $25 a month and will give you every thing you need to break down the numbers. Including tax,P&L and business reports. It also has fuel software that can track your fuel costs and mpg for free.

$.79 per mile after fuel....$.50 to the driver, leaves you with $.29 left over. Hope all your other costs are very low

Ouch, try not to make that a regular occurrence or it will become much more than just a math problem.

Total rate divided by miles equals rate per mile. Next you need to figure out what your break even point per mile is. If it costs you $1.59 a mile to operate, then it stands to reason running for $1.059 is dying a fast death.

So you drive for free? I have a 1760 mile run (Phoenix to Chattanooga) that weight is under 10k. I'll give you $2k to move. Interested?
