Brews in minutes! How many? :)

Give us review afterwards. Anything is better than a RoadPro.

My understanding is any heating that is to be done on 12 volt DC is going to be very slow and inefficient. Whether it's too slow I guess depends on your idea of too slow. A 1500+ watt inverter will run many of smallest [wattage] home units (like the hotel room coffee brewers) if that ever becomes an option.

Some guys use mini-propane camp cook stoves to boil water, then use a 'french press' coffee pot

I just used an enamel coated camp cup, and a few 12v dc water heaters, then the french press.
Takes a lot of water, though.
Not for the actual coffee, but rather; cleaning the mesh on the press after its use. Unless you know, you like mold on it.

I used to drive a 2012 Volvo VNL 780 with a 1000 watt inverter. I used a standard Mr. Coffee and regular ground coffee. It worked great.

    Same system here.

Tried 12v, no luck - too slow.

Yup, it works? Do you use one? Could you describe how it works, the amount of time to brew a cu p? Thanks

It has terrible ratings on Amazon, but maybe that's because some people think it should perform at the same level as a 110 coffee maker.....
