thats him, ok he does show some signs of having some serious attention defect disorder for sure, if hes not on drugs. he said i came close to cutting off a car or my right side? i never took the right lane classic sign of over imagination attention defect disorder, he told me to stay in the left fast lane as i did so durring the test, i also ask otheres that where tested and they said he wanted them to stay in the left lane. which is against what we all been taught, stay in the right slower lane if not passing, this tester is a paranoia nut case..

Close to cutting off the car and those other mistakes is why you got sent packing that and you were at your third otr job in 6 months made you also look bad.
All of the testers at May act like they are not paying attention but belive me they do pay close attention.

    oops double post

No one is calling you a bad driver they are mearly pointing out that quiting two otr jobs in 6 months and trying to get another makes you look like a job hopper 3 otr jobs in 6 months is way too many. If you have had one otr job in 6 months that may have been better.

Well from another post I read in another thread, I would say Chargingbear needs to sit down first and check his attitude toward companies. Untill that happens I feel from experience it will not be any different no matter what Company he goes to.

Chargingbear, You failed your road test cause you did several things wrong. Turning on a yellow can and some cases will get you a Ticket, I should know, I gotten 2 cause I was to close to the light to stop when they turned yellow and I did get pulled over and given a ticket for running a red Light though it was yellow when I crossed under them. One did get changed at court by the Officer who pulled me over to going to fast for conditions. I was doing 50 in a 55 as it was..

Cause you failed and another driver failed does not make them a bad company, just means you had a bad day.

What an Attitude you are showing here, what Biker said you need to check the attitude at the gate before entering the job.
You have implied your a know it all Trucker on this site, so why didn't you know how to drive one already? But guess us CRE trained drivers can but you know it all can not.... You should always know the equipment you are driving before you release the airbrakes..

Your wrong here, pjw044 was correct. First 4 gears are like a straight 10, the last 4 or excatly like the super 10.

Well by your statement on another post CRE or Swift may hire you then.. But I feel you may fail their driving test too. Or you would find some reason to leave them after a week....

You do have a major attitude problem. You even show it on this site.
This attitude will effect you with every company you go with. You hit a snag and boom they are a bad company in your eyes. Every company that is out there can be ruled as a good company or a bad company, it all in the eye who experienced it for them selves. Cause you did not pass a road test does not make May a bad company, it only says you failed their test. You will have problems with every company, they are not perfect. They are ran by Human beings. And Humans are not Perfect.

You can be 55 and have 23 years otr experince that much experince does not mean you know how to drive well enough to pass a road test
I had a dude in my class that had about 15 years otr he failed his test Why did he fail it becuase he had in his mind I have all of this experince I can get a job anywere.
Well after he left we all asked mike the saftey guy why did he fail he explained that the guy was doing some stupid stuff that most rookies do like not enough mirror checks, did not check his oppisit mirror checks, not using signals etc.

funny isnt with their test that the only experience drivers happen to pass those test that day, were teamers a male and female couple why? you cant not fail one one, because the other would of just quit, thus may company wants teamers more then solos.

just the opposite this guy was overly paying attention into a paranoia stage, making me nervous.

Who to say they both may have passed? A team is just that a team, if one passes and one fails then the team failed. So who would want to have a team where you could be put into a law suit cause of one of them ran over a child crossing the road?

You will be better off learning from the mistakes and improve for the next time. As a Driver you should always be learning. Learn from your own mistakes and others. Just hope your mistakes don't cost anyone their life.

Does May want teams? Yes but it is because they have an account that hauls celing tiles and it needs a team to get to the delivery locations on time.
If only the experinced driver passed the tests that sounds right because newbiee's make alot of little mistakes.

May does still want solo's alot of their loads are hauled by solo's.

Maybe he was watching you more because you were scareing the S*** out of him.

He does not get it MGASSEL, and probably will not for some time.
There is a reason why everyone will tell you to stick out that first year with your starting company. Every orientation you go to counts as a job on your DAC. You cannot do much about that, but add a comment if you want.
So at this point you have had at least 3 OTR jobs in 6 months. Most company's will not even look at you at this point. Add to that the "Super Trucker" attitude, and I am not suprised that a tester let you go.
Brand new solo drivers do not get in that many serious accidents in there first 6 months, but allot of them will in months 6-10. Why? becuase they are gaining missplaced confidance in there abilitys.

Your best bet would be to go back to one of the companys you left, if you left on good terms. Get 1 year+, then go looking for a better company. Not many, if any, decent companys will take you right now.

I don't care what you said or did on the road test. My guess is though, with the attidude I see here, you did something minor, and instead of taking the crit ism and learning from it, you made a know it all comment, and pissed him off. If this was the case, I would have failed you also, if I was the tester.
