Just looked today and I had a substantial coolant leak coming from backside of block where the transmission meets the engine block. It's not a head gasket because the head is about 5" above where the leak is. Can't see on the back of the engine so I cant try to describe it.
On the passenger side between the starter housing and block, where they meet. There is a a slow stream of coolant coming from it.. I cant tell what to make of that. Any ideas?

Coolant leaks were bad on the mbe4000

    check Those leaks.
Or Coolant usually leaks on the coolant rail, it is a metal rail that connects all 6 cylinder heads together, it is all so called the Deareation line. They usually crack, or the crush washers leak.
