Not sure exactly. It seems they had other companies drivers moving their equipment. I have seen EagleOne driving their equipment. I think EagleOne might be doing the exact same thing as us. Before I even got an interview(or a call back) from Schneider I applied with EagleOne. That's the first time I heard about moving Schlumberger equipment.

Schlumberger is opening a yard here in San Antonio(Von Ormy) and I have heard the yard in Leming is closing.

HERE, HERE I work in the Bakken and they (the large trucking co.) are taking all the contracts from the oil companies and then giving them to the owner ops for about 2/3rds what they are contracted for.

The better paying oil field jobs are way up north and Canada.

OMG those wages are horrible! $55k a year to do oilfield work?! My company has lost guys who are up in North dakota doing the safe stuff for $25-30 and hour with O/T.
I'm stunned they are paying that low! There was an interview(I'll see if I can find it) about the Eagle Ford area and how companies that were offering $26 an hour, couldn't find drivers who could pass a drug screen. Like a 70% fail rate. There has to be better wages than that for Drivers out there. Man that sucks!

I was down there pulling an end dump. We were hauling cuttings off of the drilling rigs. I talked with a Schnieder hand hauling crude. I was making around $500 a week more than him to haul oilbase cuttings!!!! I made $45,000 from the second week of june until the 7th of october. Now I wasnt home every night. I worked a 14 on, 7 off schedule and was turning in 130 to 140 hours a week. Schnieder in the oilfield = a place for drivers to make some great money going to hell.

Well I got on with Gulfmark Energy hauling crude. Decent job. I see those Schneider trucks lined up near the port of Victoria unloading onto a boat directly. Schneider is too cheap to buy space at the port directly.
