Mercer or Landstar, yes this again...

on flatbed trailers do they offer various mfg or just one?

Mercer sells Great Dane trailers, on a rare occassion they may get something else, but it's pretty exclusively Great Dane. I'm not sure what Landstar's deal is.

 

Couple guys got transcraft trailers from them while I was there.

Back in May my two choices were Great Dane or utility.

 

With the Great Dane trailers do they have the tire air makeup units, and air dumps for the front/rear axels?

 

Great Dane is their preferred trailer. But when they can't get enough from the manufacturers, they branch out and get whatever they can.

 

Air dump on the rear axle is installed and wired at the factory. Not sure what you mean by "tire air makeup". Are you talking about an auto inflation system? They see not equipped with that.

They are standard no frills solid trailers. 6 winches on each side, two 60 inch boxes. Coil package. 4 nail strips. just basic trailers. But solid trailers. I stuck a 50k pound coil on mine and it didn't sag a bit. It has held up extremely well since I've had it.

 

That's the model name, Great Dane is the mfg
