Mercer Transportation Co., Inc. - Louisville, Ky.?

Could you tell what is your average time spent loading/unloading at shippers/receivers in the van division of Mercer?

 

I'll keep that in mind for sure fellers. I appreciate all the tips. Cath anybody tell me how this mentor thing works? I'll be needing advice as I go along. ..

 

I plan 2 hours. Sometimes it's 20 minutes & others it's 4 hours. I will not go back to doing drop & hook.

I don't know anything about the mentor program. Haven't had a need for it. If I need help I can find someone to help me.

 

The mentors are just a group of contractors divided between van , flat ,step and a rgn
guy.

They just help answer questions you may have about one and outs of the load board, lanes , etc.

They aren't to tell ya how to run things, but just to ask for advice or help. I myself have acted as a go between when some were hesitant about dealing with office folks, some just need to vent their frustrations and need someone to listen.

You can call contractor relations and they can get you in touch with someone if you like.

Do you live around Floyd Iowa I run thru there on a regular basis and pull a van for mercer

 

Yeah! I live in Mitchell. I've been dropping my mt in Floyd when I'm home. Happy to make a connection with a neighbor. How is it getting loads into our out of Iowa?
