If it was me I would take an average amount of gross income and charge them that. Now you have to be tactful but I'd be charging $750 a day. That's my low end. If the agent couldn't get that for me I would hire a forklift and have it dropped on their doorstep.
Ok for many this won't work but I commit to something and am expected to stand by it. If you are prebooked you can at least get the gross from the next booking then $500 a day after your next booking delivery day.
Or you can make the agent happy and just sit on it..

There are people there and they can usually get the agents on the weekend. It takes a little time but it can be done. Now after about 5 today it gets a little harder but even then can still be done. Just takes more patience is all. Of course with this being a holiday weekend you had to expect this to happen to somebody.

When were u suppose to deliver? Tuesday? If so I would make sure that I was in whatever town I was suppose to be in. A also you don't need to use the figures I stated. I always shot high and make them counter somehow. Surprisingly I have gotten what I've asked for more then once now. Also try not to get upset, remember that this is trucking and this stuff happens. Hopefully it can work in your favor. Keep us posted (I'm sure you will LOL)
