She has said before, several times that she has no patience. I think all that matters to her is that her husband gets home tomorrow safe and sound. She will worry about everything else when he does. They have already talked about other companies. She needs him now not next week or month. No matter what happens after that.

 

Also Mercer gets flats from Fontaine (like mine) too. Not just Great Dane. They buy what they can find.

Haha, yes, I am impatient. I don't like not knowing what's going on. I want a set plan and be done with it. We'll get it figured out soon enough.

That was inevitable. You don't have to be a phi beta kappa to understand supply and demand. Generally speaking a workforce expansion of 20% inside of 8 to 10 months would dictate a minimum increase of 30% of new freight. Now I think even the most blindly loyal mercer guys on here could agree that the explosion of hiring was never even approached by additional or new business sold. Someone there has gotten some good advice to secure the drivers and freight base you have and hire or replace by attrition and attrition levels now are huge.

 

My turn in has been there 4 weeks in the same spot I dropped it.

 

I'm so glad Mercer is cutting back!
