If it wasn't for this thread along with the "why do some fail" I don't know what I'd be doing in life right now. Prob still local doing food service. I can honestly say that you guys literally gave us new guys a great base foundation on how to operate here at mercer. I appreciate y'all on here because you don't have to provide the info. I felt so far along in orientation. My LC was shocked at how advanced I was. Those phone convos with spyder helped a ton too. I think the best attribute you and Spyder have is you guys are blunt and honest. Some don't like it but you can't learn by being sugar coated. Thanks fellas. Y'all are MVP's in my book

Trust me, for the right $$$ I would find a way to get a load to Hawaii. I might grab the next Alaska load I see. Those things pay a ton.

Me and others are more than willing to offer any advise we can. Of the group here I have the least amount of time here at Mercer but am always willing to share what I know and have learned from others. I seem to be doing OK but like was mentioned earlier I took most of my knowledge from post made on these forums. Particularly from the "in your face" post made. Has not always been what I wanted to hear but usually was what I needed to heed.

Yeah, that's the only thing that has made me tempted to go get my passport, but honestly, I'd rather not deal with the Canadian Rockies and the Alaskan ranges. I mean, I'd love to do it once, just to say I did it and to see the scenery, but then I'd be perfectly happy to stay in the 48 from then on out.
