What is the scoop at admiral merchants? Fuel seems higher and freight is disappointing?would like to switch from mercer but can't afford to lose $$. ; (

I dont own a truck yet but I'm most likely going for a pre-egr truck so no cali for me!

I really like running the Midwest and I see that the Midwest is where Mercer shines and looking at their available loads it looks difficult getting in and out of WA.

Seems higher? Are you nuts? Year ago fuel was way higher. Lower fuel prices lower rate.

In my opinion this best bet is a pre egr like you said, but park at the yard in Louisville and fly home. If you can't go into California the rate out of the north west and Rockies are down right scary.

I live out on Whidbey. I do just fine. It's easier to get home via Cali unless you want to hop over the pass empty to get home. There is plenty of freight that goes to the tri cities area from across the country. And there is plenty of great paying freight out of the sound area. It just doesn't sit on the board long and you would never see it on the public board. Coming from home you get great loads.
