I haven't been across there yet, but I love going over Vail and Monarch. I-70 and US 50 are both pretty rides

He wanted one. Just trying to keep him happy. :)
But only two on the rippoff off report seems pretty good. Swift had 239. Put it in relation to something.

Five drivers have said Swift made an offer for Mercer back last spring, and the offer was accepted. That's the reason for all the Quality trucks. The Quality trucks are driving the rates down so the long time o/o's will quit before Swift takes over in 2nd quarter 2016. This way the operating cost will be low without having the hassle of letting all the older Mercer o/o's go. All remaining Mercer o/o's will have to sign a mileage contract of what I hear is .92 cpm plus fsc and a $25.00 tarp fee. Fuel discounts cut in half, no tags or FSC paid, and only tolls that are approved in advance of accepting the load are paid. All trucks on e-log and cameras.

Consolidation by the megas is the new trucking world.

WOW...that sounds like a fabricated story out of a National Enquirer magazine. Not the kind of kool-aid that the trucking industry needs to be drinking.

Biggest problem is that many agents still think you can run 700+ miles a day. But that's only on a few loads and often when you call them you find out that the delivery time is just a place holder. But I did have an agent get upset when my coordinator booked a load for me that was impossible to legally make period. I would say it's a learning curve for drivers and agents alike.
