Hey anybody else get the permit and base plates charge letter. I don't get it I thought we were paying for our plates now in every settlement.. Why the 2k charge in March? Just a little clarity

Question... Outside of trucking. How can I help my wife? She might have lost our unborn child and I got no clue what to do so far away...

Get your behind home. Be prepared to stay there for a while. And for heavens sake, ask HER what she needs from you. (--A wife who has lost babies in the past.)

I have read the entire 1157 page thread. That took a while. I have the basics. I know not to move (flatbed) in the winter. I am needing some more firm numbers to plug into my spreadsheets. What I'm looking for is the actual deductions that Mercer takes out of your settlements. So far I have: trailer payments, insurance (but I don't have those numbers), any equipment financing (flatbed equipment advances). I understand that the fuel card fees are taken from whatever you ask for advanced to your card. I run the financials for our family, and while I DO understand the ups and downs of freight, I would appreciate a few more concrete numbers to plug in.

If anyone is willing to offer: what your gross income to the truck was your first and second years at Mercer. I completely understand everyone has different payments and situations. Even an average monthly gross would be fine. From what I've read, we should be able, without much problem even if he chooses to go van to figure out the system, to make more at Mercer than where we are leased to at the moment.

Dude! Forget tires and get your rear home. Be patient and understanding. Give her whatever she says she needs (space, comfort, understanding) but get home.

I'm sure we are all hoping for the best man. That would be truly sad news.

Dead head home tonight, or add soon add you empty. Stay there a while and don't even look at the load board till she is ready for you to leave. We lost more than one. it's tough on us guys, but can never compare to what the ladies go through. go home and hug her. that's all we can do, but it's important we do it.
