Normally I do too. But after being stuck in the Rockies a full week, I'm in a hurry to get back to my comfort zone. And more importantly, get this crate off and something on headed home.

If you own a truck, especially an older one, you better be able to fix things and be willing to do it if you want to keep trucking long term. Labor rates will kill the bottom line.

 

An hour is about right. That's one of those things if you rush, you end up with turn signals flashing the opposite way. Or brake lights coming on with the market lamps.

 

It's the willing part that's important. The able part comes by screwing it up until you figure it out how to fix it.

 

That's when Bambi tries to commit suicide by truck. And usually succeeds.
