2000-2100 RPM, engine fan on all the time, It did not matter what kind of truck those "Double Breasted Yamaha's" were in. It was loud!

Yep. There is a reason they called them screamin Detroit's. The whole county knew when I was heading to work.

I spent the day here in Louie today. I am no expert nor do I know anything about what's going on but, I don't see where more trailers can be put ATM. Every lot is full of trailers because so many people are running UPS. The trailer lot is full of empty trailers (mine too), the lot I was introduced to my new trailer last year is full of cars. There just might not be any room for trailers right now. Everyone in indoc today either had there own trailers or was going Van. Anyone going to indoc soon there is a super cheap headache rack for sale to help get you started ;)

I wanna do ups next year to keep me busy. Im being lazy haven't had to push push in long time lol. Last company I had tight loads and had to run 70 most of time so speeding tickets was normal now it's just slow motion.

Are you nuts? Ups is a joke for a solo truck. very good money to be made for teams, but solo, just keep doing your thing with your flat.

JTV called me several times in the last 3 weeks. No doubt, for a solo you might as well run general van freight. I've gotten about 4 quotes on loads they needed covered and I had to graciously say thanks but no thanks. I mean they weren't even on the ballpark.

I hate to crush your dream man, but the reality is, if it's been three months they don't want you for whatever reason, or others are being pushed ahead of you. with freight being so slow, they are being a lot more picky about who to sign on.

this is nothing but an educated guess based on what I'm seeing with my eyes and hearing with my ears. Guys with their own trailers/equipment and flat experience are having no problem getting a seat at orientation. Guys with all their equipment and experience but no trailer are getting a trailer. Guys with no equipment, no trailer but good experience are waiting a couple weeks. And quality trucks are being passed over by every one else.

Oh didn't think the rates on ups would be bad lol. When I first looked into before it started they wouldn't tell me rates for ups.
