I wanna get it pressure tested but idk how much they charge for that local shop is 75 an hour and cheaper with cash lol. It's been showing some but the numbers went up over 3 times what they been. I do notice oily stuff on my air compressor air intake line. It's not oil though it's very light color almost clear and oily

 

I had coolant showing up in my samples once, just a slight increase but it kept increasing very slow. I took it to Cat, they pulled the pan pressurized the system and let it sit overnight. They could not get it to leak.

Went back to work, one day I checked the oil and there it was, That nasty foamy honey chocolate looking crap. Out on the road. No one could get it in for several day's.

So I went to a truck stop changed the the oil and headed home. I changed the oil 3-4 times before I got home, but I did get home with no damage.

 

Yea see it's not noticeable in oil it looks normal lol. I think what annoys me the most is I've had nothing but problems with the truck.

 

I bought a new truck in 88 ran it 1.8 million. Ive bought 2 used since. A 96 and this 03. both of the used truck I ended up doing in frames on within 4 months. You need a stretch of good luck

 

OK, can you take a non-qualified California truck to California with Mercer? For a trip or two.

 

If anyone needs truck wash russville ar exit 84 next to the flying j. This place is great always has been $100 truck trailer and engine wash. They always do great job.

 

Yep, got mine washed there last time, good job

 

And use a can of bars leak and see if it stops worth a shot

 

I hate that stuff. I used it in a 280z once about twenty years ago and it plugged up the radiator and heater core. ever since then, I've refused to put it in anything I plan on keeping.
