What make it so bad is not only do you have to tarp it but you gotta sit on it for 2 days

Yep. One day to load and tarp. One day to run it. One day to get it unloaded. That's a three day run. needs to pay about a grand more than what it does to get me interested

Turn the truck off and back on (at the light) next time. If the truck isn't running, you can't be driving, it will hold the "on duty not driving" status to get you into the truck stop.

If he's jumping with wingsuits, you might wanna catch him before he's dead.

[Qfriend TE="spyder7723, post: 4983094, member: 111620"]Pros: 1 can take advantage of the very few loads that require one. 2 never have to tarp again

Cons: a few loads can not fit under the tarp system. And many loads that can, the customer still won't load them cause they just don't understand what a conestoga is.

Eli has several sitting hme would happily rent you to try out[/QUOTE]
A friend of mine has a conestoga at Mercer. He loves it. Most loads will fit. He told me if I buy one , make sure I get one with the maximum load clearance.
As he he told me, he's a flatbedder and doesn't know how to tarp (he's only pulled conestogas since he started flatbedding ).

Pulled vans for 20 years. Picked up trailers with blown tires , holes in the roof, holes in the floor, holes in the sides, damaged door seals, doors ripped off, lights not working, bad wheel seals, and probably some real nightmares that I'm blocking out.
But a driver at Mercer leaves a handle sticking out???
    Oh , the horror !!!!!!!
Btw way, I remembered more . Bent or missing crank handles and tandem slide handles.
Didn't realize how tough it is at Mercer. Whew! Glad I don't have to deal with crank handles that weren't dropped down. I'd probably just commit suicide. Hope you guys
have the suicide hotline programmed into your phones.
Just seeing something like that could send a vulnerable person over the edge.I mean, can you say ptsd. I want some meds just thinking about it.

I switched it to on duty at the light. Im guessing it was for less than a min, so it stayed in drive mode once I rolled?
