This makes sense I did two cargo checks where I got out and checked the chains and got back in the truck. The computer didn't show them afterwords.

Just a quick question if a guy running paper log stops 5 minutes for coffee then shows on his logs he took his 30 minute break is that not a trick to beat the system

Nah, it's just flat out cheating/lying. I guess what I meant was the level of effort required for the trucks to cheat the system. I'd like to think I won't be doing those games, but the reality is once I'm on them, I may change my stance and be giving razor a call to teach this old dog some new tricks.

Good, because there are some things I'm not comfortable putting online lol. A few months ago my coordinator asked me how I manage to never have any issues, he gets calls all the time with drivers messing up the elogs and having to make arrangements on loads. I told him the same thing I told you guys. He said he was gonna start forwarding all log calls to me.

Why is everyone worried about elogs? WE do not work hard enough to ever worry about that crap. And IF you are working that hard you are doing this all wrong.

I could see how a JB Hunt guy could dislike elogs because he can't do 700 miles in a day. But I only need a few hundred miles on a busy day. Heck, I pick my freight and when doing so I make sure I have plenty of time. Guys worried about 14 hours are doing this all wrong. With that said I do know all the tricks to our elogs. I use them to my advantage but they are nothing like running two logs or any of the stuff people do.
