@skateboardman I'm sorry to hear about your wife's illness. I wish you both the best. RA is terrible. We are all guilty of letting emotions override our good sense on occasion and this is no different.
Wow what a busy 24 hrs you all have had. I still want the AK trip but I want it in the spring. Those rates are low for this time of year. Skate, keep your head up bro. It is what it is and you will make it work man. Anyway I had to shut down here in Cali and get some snowsocks shipped to me. All this rain I've been dealing with has caused a lot of snow in the hills. My dumb rear forgot to move my chains from the old truck and spent all of yesterday turning down great paying loads (some not all) cause I was afraid of running into snow. So to date I have only run 2 loads this year for less then 300 loaded miles. I looked back at last year and I had a similar start in what turned out to be one of my best months of the year (well above average at least). Anyway stay safe and enjoy life.
Oh did I mention that before I picked up this truck I had gone about three months without tarping and now I've run 4 loads and tarpped 4 times? I really need to get back in my grove. LOL
You keep talking like that and you're gonna force me to leave the house and go back to work before I had planned on.
LOL. Don't do that. Enjoy the house. I spent Xmas at home and a week in San Diego going to a bowl game. You gotta love all the time off you are able to take here.
Yup, I've been home since December 19th, but was busy with seeing family out of town after Christmas, got home January 1st. Since then I haven't done any truck related stuff I need to before I do go back to work, been to busy playing in the hills in my Jeep.
