    Well the speed limiter mandate is for the United States. We should know it in early Feb.

    Quality sets them at 75, Celadon sets them at like 63. Mercer doesn't care. Just make sure you don't have a truck set up for Celadon, Quality will fix it if needed. I don't think they will open it up all the way, but if you choose to once you leave, it's your truck and Mercer doesn't care.

    Ya states like Arkansas just lifted there 65 state wide on trucks so as always the fed will use this to bypass state laws

    What are they trying to put the speed limit at? I thought it said trucks must be able to do 65 no less.

    They have yet to set a number. We will supposedly know on feb 2 when it gets sent to the white Hous off of budget and management.

    @Razorwyr I just don't do it in general. Never pays enough in my world of freight.

    I drove for years during the national 55 mph speed limit. One company I drove for had my truck set at 58. Talk about a long trip from NC to Ca and back. It had the new at that time Formula 350 low rpm engine and low speed rears. I didn't stay there very long.

    What I just read it was for us highways not interstates I don't think they want every truck to go less than 65 that would crowd the hwy
