I couldn't do 58 did it once that was the last time

 

I couldn't do 58 for long either. I had a drawer full of speeding tickets at one time. Somehow I wised up and didn't get any more after March of 1981.

 

I do it when it pays enough for me to D/H out if needed. I do, sometimes, take a slightly cheaper load to go somewhere I've never been or haven't been to in awhile. I get tired of the same scenery. That being said, I still have my limits to what I will do and my minimum amount I will do it for.

 

Is fright slowing down in the west yet

That hurricane did a lot of damage should be picking up in az now I'm the reefer side

 

Govt scews up any thing good.

 

It's definitely slowed down a little, but there are fewer people out here running the Western Board than the last few months. My empty date is 1/4 and I've been top 5 on almost everything, 1 in about half. Freight has slowed down, not paying quite as well as it was, but if you're patient, there are good loads popping up.

 

Freight is slow everywhere. it's January. happens every year.

 

What shortage? Plenty of drivers out here and the Megas have slowed hiring and stopped expanding.

In the AM everything will pick up a bit. Holidays are finally over. Wait for me to say I'm heading east before you think of being #1. Even then I think it only move you to 2. But I'll be running the Mil loads in the AM. You can have East.

 

I'm not going east, at least not too far, for awhile. I'm grabbing a load in the morning out of LA going to Brighton, CO, probably shouldn't have taken one to CO, but oh well, we will see if it turns out to be worth it.
