Yup... I wonder how many quality trucks Mercer has lost so far with drivers not making money to pay for em. For $160,000 I'd buy a nice used 03 truck and rebuild still have money left over.

Pete if you ask the right person in Louisville he will give you the number stats of quality leases up to that week. Or I'm not gonna say my truck number but the first quality trucks I recall were starting in the mid 14's, how many of those do you ever see? :/

I never trust CO freight. I look at it once or twice a week and I don't think I've ever seen anything coming out worth a cent. Too many $3-4, work 4 hour loads here for me to justify taking that chance.

Isn't there a $65k balloon payment on new Quality trucks? Man I could never justify a steep weekly payment and then a steeper crazy high buyout. But that's just me.

My question would be, why let the guys lease on knowing they aren't gonna be able to cover the truck payment?
One guy that was in orientation with me said his lone star with quality was 620 a week!!...an to think I felt like I was getting screwed by my bank for paying $1350 a month!!

Been there, done that. Then start looking for a truck to buy, after saying "I will never own another one"

They just started it about a year ago. And they have suspended it. It was an experiment that didn't work out.

To be fair, every new truck is near 150k today, no matter how you acquire it.
