Taking my 1st bump (self imposed, but still a bump) on the head getting 2 know Mercer freight lanes. Came down 2 houston,tx on a really good paying load (4 this time of yr) & can't find anything 2 get me out 2day. Hopefully it'll b tomorrow. I came down here last wk on a good load (4 this time of yr) & turned around & got a decent paying 1 out the same day I dropped. Guess I tried my luck thinking I could do it again & got burned.

 

South Texas is tough in the winter for us. to many of us old farts are allergic to cold, so any time you head to a warm climate you are gonna be way down on the board. If you are looking to maximize profit in the winter, stay north of I40.

Yea tons of loads going to houston and i wont take em. Unless they are paying for DH out lol

 

Last compressor I bought the core charge was almost twice as much as the compressor was.

 

Hello all good news found a truck its my 3rd choice frightliner 2016 it has 175 miles on it.also a comment I read want to address that I did my research on everything I didn't go half ####ed I just wanted advice from truck drivers we post to help each other out so I was reaching out.want to thank everyone for their input

 

Depending on how long it takes me to get reloaded and tarped tomorrow, I may be in louisville late evening. Where we eating? No margaritas this trip, got to boogie on down south at 2.65/mile.

 

How much are the payments/terms on these lease trucks, and what is the buyout at the end?
