7 mpg running heavy in those hills? Ok. I got to stop talking to you before I do something stupid.

No no no, I was debating whether to go van or not before I started because I'm not a cold weather person and didn't want to deal with flats in the winter, but you guys talked me into pulling a flat before I officially applied. I say officially because I was tentatively approved, just didn't make it official until I was within 30 days of leaving my previous employer. I've pulled a flat from day 1.

Mine is $612 on a '16 T680 with a $65k buyout. I figured it out at roughly 11%, but that was quick math. I didn't intend on staying in the truck, but it's growing on me. The truck I wanted, deal fell through, so I just did the Quality thing last minute. I figured turn it in in 2 years and buy something else, but I dunno now, I may ride it out. I figure it's a little high, but for no money down, no credit check, can't find a cheaper deal. I did look at Lone Mountain, but I didn't like what they had at the time and the used trucks Quality had at the time I went were either Prostars, which I don't like, or they were ragged out.

I don't calculate the mpg on my DEF but I normally go through about 1/4 tank per fill up of diesel. I top mine off every other fuel stop. I think my tank is 15 gal, never looked but lowest it's ever been is about 1/4 and most I've ever put in it is 12 gal. Usually takes about 7 gal per 250 gal of diesel I burn.

safe haven is related to hazardous materials only and few of them exist.

finding a safe place to park and delayed by traffic or a crash enroute would be more appropriate.

    Yes, and UNFORESEEN weather !

Seriously, just a couple minutes and they won't make a big deal out of it unless they see it happening all the time. As others have stated most of us just don't run hard enough for logs to be an issue. Still, it's trucking, and #### happens.
