It's not that there no loads there are some cheap ones going to DEAD area's again like houston New mexico and doesn't pay for me to Deadhead out. What is a D50 Trailer?

There are some decent loads in Texas even Florida. U just gotta be willing to work that area for a couple of days an make a chunk of money running local stuff THEN bounce out of there.
I took a load out of ga to Miami paying 2.33 a mile an I knew it was gonna be dead coming out so I stayed in Miami for 4 days doing local $3mile stuff until I made some good money an dh'd up to Jacksonville an grabbed a cheap load to get me home in Alabama

 

I came on May 18 I was approved in......... Early April so it took a month for me



Just to let you know that wait times got more worse after I started. I guess Great Dane was backed on orders. Everybody and their mom were buying flats to help salvage their business.

 

So that was you who took my south Florida stuff and my girl in Tampa said that the stuff she had was gone lol. I had to deadhead back to Orlando

 

Lol. I never turn down loads Going to south Florida if I know there's local port work there. That twic card pays for itself a thousand times over lol!!...I have even took a 34 down in the keys. Rented a car an relaxed for the weekend an jumped on the sea containers Monday morning running 2-3 of em a day paying anywhere between 3-600 bucks. Longest trip maybe have been 150 miles from port.
Those over width air craft parts pay 8-9 bucks a mile running maybe a 100 miles out.

 

Thanks for the info. Like I said patience is not my best friend but guess I need to get a little of it. Just sitting in truck stop 4 days a week isn't paying real well.
